In 2011/12 I was offered the chance to exhibit some work at Bradford IndustrialMuseum as part of their Steampunk-themed show, and took it as an opportunity to develop a project that I'd been planning for some time.  The idea was to effectively backdate the world of Britannia that had been created for the model village project, and create a false documentary project that used home-built models and specially shot images of people in suitable dress, added into photomanipulated shots of Saltaire, West Yorkshire.  The project was dubbed “The Century Survey” and was intended to resemble a series of period images taken as part of the 1901 Census, recording images of life in an alternate, Steampunk Britain.  Much more information is available on the blog.
